On October 15, 2016, the Millburn Education Foundation hosted the first ever Rocktoberfest. Since then, the gathering has become a cherished event filled with joy, entertainment, delicious food, and much more. Aside from Rocktoberfest being loved by the community, different local businesses have gotten the opportunity to showcase and advertise their companies to those who attend.

Each year the Millburn Rocktoberfest has been packed with different activities for all to enjoy. Thus, for its 10th Anniversary, the Millburn Education Foundation has truly gone above and beyond for this year’s entertainment! Music has always been a focal point of the event, which is why I am ecstatic to share that NYC’s #1 Reggae Soul Band, Leon and the Peoples will be headlining this year’s Rocktoberfest on the Bauer Stage!

What is even more exciting is that our Millburn student clubs will be performing at the Rocktoberfest this year. You can expect to see Soulfege, MHS Kpop Dance Club, Andaaz Dance Club, MHS Dance Club, and the MHS Cheer Team! There will also be many more performances sharing music, dance, and different cultures with our town. Any attendees looking to have a concert of their own have the chance to sing at the on-site Karaoke Booth (no reservation needed)!

Another spectacle of the Rocktoberfest is the Kid Zone with inflatables, carnival games, face painting, and much more. For those craving a fun competition, the Cornhole Tournament has been brought back and our student peers from the MHS Athletic Department will be hosting different activities and competitions! For 2026, the Millburn Education Foundation partnered with the Paper Mill Playhouse to offer arts, crafts, and even theater workshops for the Inclusivity Zone! Speaking of zones, you have the chance to get two corner endzone (or 50-yard line) tickets in addition to a platinum parking pass at a Giants or Jets game at MetLife Stadium through Rocktoberfest’s silent auction.

Moving on from the plethora of activities featured, you can also step away and grab a bite to eat, do some shopping, and check out our local businesses at this year’s Rocktoberfest. Rocktoberfest truly has something for everyone, and what makes it even more special is that by attending, you are raising money for our school district! Through having fun with your friends and family, you can help support our town’s education system.

Come celebrate and support Millburn Education Foundation’s 10th anniversary for the Rocktoberfest at Taylor Park, October 3rd.
